Count your Blessings

A dear friend went into labor early for her baby with which she had anticipated medical problems and had a multitude of testing done throughout pregnancy. Well a friend and I went to visit baby Sammy yesterday in the Texas Children's NICU (which is a phenomenal facility by the way) and were there for her as she learned of the heart wrenching struggles that lay ahead for her baby boy. I hope to be as supportive and encouraging as possible. Yesterday was probably the most humbling, educational, and inspiring day. I hope to be a part of Sam's journey through!
